JK Field Notes is the record I wanted before buying the small Wrangler upgrades that are easy to wonder about and strangely hard to evaluate from a product listing.

Owner history
Two Wranglers, one practical standard
I owned the black 2007 two-door JK first and now drive the green 2015 four-door JKU. The reviews come from normal ownership in Minnesota: winter weather, doors-off summers, grocery runs, family errands, and the small annoyances that show up on repeated drives.
Evidence standard
What counts as evidence here
I supply the product, the test vehicle, the photos, and the opinion. If I bought something twice, returned it, struggled with the install, or cannot verify a claim, that remains part of the article.
Point of view
The perspective behind the verdicts
I am a taller driver, so clearance and reach matter. I care more about daily usefulness than dramatic build photos. A five-minute antenna can be a keeper, and an inexpensive part can still be a pass if it creates a new problem.
